WPA3 is the latest security standard from the Wi-Fi Alliance and it implements a number of important security improvements.
One notable security enhancement is the mandatory use of encrypted management frames. While it makes the Wi-Fi connection safer and less prone to person-in-the-middle attack vectors, it makes it more difficult to detect and categorize data packets for testing throughput and roaming performance.
A WPA3 update to the KRAVE® Test Suite is now available to dB Performance customers with an active support and maintenance agreement. This ensures critical roaming measurements can be performed while the Wi-Fi connection is configured with the latest encryption/authentication standard.
