dB Performance, a leading provider of high-performance Wi-Fi software solutions, announces availability of the dB Performance Wi-Fi Calling Kit. OEMs can now add the kit to their existing connection manager to implement carrier-grade Wi-Fi Calling for their network operator customers.
The kit enables an automated Wi-Fi hotspot connection using Wi-Fi Alliance Passpoint or Devicescape CVN, and provides seamless fast-roaming and dynamic load-balancing within the venue with CCX or 802.11k/r/v. The SDK includes a soft-MAC middleware component which minimizes WLAN driver and firmware changes, and reduces the porting effort for other WLAN chipsets.
